How joining works
From application to first student
Apply
Share your subjects, exams, rate and experience. Upload your resume and a government ID.
We review
We check your ID and credentials by hand. This usually takes a few days.
Accept your invite
Create your password, sign the Tutor Agreement and polish your profile.
Teach and earn
Families book and pay through the site. You teach in your lesson room and answer homework questions in your subjects.
Built-in tools
Teach with everything in one place
No extra apps or subscriptions. Your lesson room is ready the moment a lesson is booked.
Video and screen share
Private video rooms that open 15 minutes before each lesson.
Live whiteboard
Pens, shapes, text, maths symbols, graph paper and multiple pages. Put a past paper page on the board and work through it together.
Shared files
One folder per family for worksheets, past papers, notes and marked work.
Scheduling
Propose or accept lesson times across time zones. Families pay before the room opens.
Lesson reports
A two-minute report after each lesson keeps parents informed and brings them back.
Earnings tracker
See what you have earned from lessons and homework, and what has been paid out.
Fair and simple
What you should know
We want tutors to thrive here. That means being clear from day one.
Your rate, your choice
You set your hourly rate and can change it any time.
20% platform fee
Kwikly keeps 20% of each lesson to cover vetting, safety, marketing and payment costs. You keep 80%, paid at the end of each month for lessons delivered, by bank transfer, mobile money or Wise.
Earn from homework help too
Pick up homework questions in your subjects between lessons and earn your share of every question you answer.
Keep it on the platform
All messages stay on Kwikly. Contact details are hidden automatically. This protects you, the family and the student.
Child safety is not optional
You will sign our Child Safety Rules. You can only message a student when their parent gives consent.
