Kwikly

Tutor Agreement

Version 2026-10-31

Plain-language version. If anything here is unclear, email support@theraydengroup.com.

This agreement is between you (the tutor) and Kwikly. It sits alongside our Terms of Use and Child Safety Rules. We kept it short and friendly, but it matters, so please read it.

1. Your role

You are an independent tutor. You are not an employee, partner or agent of Kwikly. You choose your subjects, your rate and the families you work with. You are responsible for your own taxes and for following the laws where you live.

2. Honest information

  • Everything in your application and profile must be true, including your name, education, experience and exam results.
  • The ID and documents you upload must be yours and genuine.
  • Tell us if anything important changes, including any criminal charge or investigation involving children.

3. Child safety

You agree to follow the Child Safety Rules at all times. In short: only message a student when the parent has given consent, keep everything on Kwikly, never ask for or share personal contact details, and keep every interaction professional and about learning.

4. Keep it on Kwikly

  • All messages with families and students stay on Kwikly.
  • Do not share or ask for phone numbers, emails, social handles or links to other apps. Our system hides these and flags the attempt.
  • Non-circumvention: for 12 months after you last message a family through Kwikly, you agree not to tutor that family's children for pay outside Kwikly unless we agree to it in writing first. If a family asks to move off the platform, please tell them to contact us, or contact us yourself. We will work out something fair.

5. Rates, fees and payouts

  • You set your own hourly rate. Families pay Kwikly, and Kwikly keeps a platform fee of 20% of each lesson. You receive 80%.
  • For homework help, you earn the share of each question shown in your dashboard when you answer it.
  • You are paid once a month, after the month ends, for lessons you delivered and homework you answered that month. Payments for lessons that were cancelled, did not happen, or are under a safety or quality review are not paid out until resolved. We pay by bank transfer, mobile money or Wise. Your Earnings tab shows what is held this month, what is ready to pay, and what has been paid.
  • If a lesson is refunded because you cancelled or did not show up, you are not paid for it.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes.

6. Quality

  • Show up on time, prepared, and communicate early if you need to change plans.
  • Only tutor subjects and exams you are qualified to teach.
  • Do not promise specific scores or results.

7. Your profile and content

You allow Kwikly to display your profile (first name, last initial, subjects, exams, rate, experience and bio) to approved parents, and to use short parts of it to promote the platform. You keep ownership of your own teaching materials.

8. Privacy

Keep families' and students' information private. Use it only for tutoring on Kwikly, and never share it with anyone else.

9. Ending this agreement

You can leave at any time by emailing support@theraydengroup.com. We can pause or close your account if you break this agreement, the Child Safety Rules or the Terms of Use, or if we believe a child may be at risk. Sections 4 and 8 continue after you leave.

10. Questions
