Kwikly
Terms of Use
Version 2026-10-31
These terms explain how Kwikly works and what we expect from everyone who uses it. We wrote them in plain language on purpose. If something is unclear, email us at support@theraydengroup.com.
1. What Kwikly is
Kwikly connects families with independent tutors for SAT, WASSCE, BECE and school support. We review tutor applications, host tutor profiles and provide a safe place to message. Tutors are independent. They are not our employees.
2. Who can use it
- Accounts are by invitation only. Parents and tutors apply, and we approve each one by hand.
- You must be 18 or older to hold an account.
- Students under 18 do not create accounts. A parent or legal guardian sets up access for their child and stays in control of it.
3. Your account
- Give us true information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Messaging
- All communication between families and tutors stays on Kwikly.
- Our system automatically hides email addresses, phone numbers, links and social media handles, and flags attempts to move conversations elsewhere. Flagged messages are reviewed by our team.
- Parents can read every message in their child's conversations.
- A tutor can never message a student unless the parent has turned on consent for that conversation.
5. What verification means
- ID verified means we reviewed a government ID that matched the tutor's name.
- Credentials reviewed means we reviewed certificates, transcripts or a resume the tutor gave us.
- We do not run criminal background checks unless a profile shows a Background check badge with the provider and date.
- Verification lowers risk. It does not guarantee results or behavior. Parents should stay involved.
6. Respect and safety
Everyone must follow our Child Safety Rules. Be honest, kind and professional. No harassment, hate, sexual content, threats or spam. We may pause or close any account that breaks these rules, and we may share information with the authorities when the law requires it or a child may be at risk.
7. Payments, lessons and homework help
- Families pay through Kwikly by card (processed by Stripe or PayPal, no PayPal account needed), by PayPal, or by mobile money (processed by Kora or Paystack, or sent to the Kwikly mobile money number and confirmed by our team). We never see or store full card numbers.
- Paid after delivery: Kwikly holds your payment and pays tutors only after the month ends, for lessons and answers actually delivered. If a lesson does not happen, you are refunded or credited.
- Lessons: each tutor sets an hourly rate. You pay once the tutor accepts a lesson. Kwikly keeps a platform fee of 20% of the lesson price and the tutor receives the rest.
- Cancellations: cancel at least 24 hours before a lesson for a full refund. Later cancellations by a family are not refunded. If a tutor cancels or does not show up, the family is refunded in full.
- Homework help: pay per question or with a monthly plan. A plan renews each month until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from your account. Unused questions stay available while your plan is active. If a question is not answered within the promised time, we return your credit or refund you.
- Homework help explains how to solve problems. Tutors will not complete tests, exams or work that will be graded as the student's own.
- Lessons take place in our lesson room with live video, a shared whiteboard and shared files. Lessons are not recorded. Whiteboards, files and lesson reports are saved so families and tutors can look back at them.
8. Staying on the platform
We spend real time and money finding, checking and supporting tutors and families. Please do not use Kwikly to meet someone and then arrange paid tutoring with them elsewhere. If you want to work together outside the platform, talk to us first and we will find a fair way to do it.
9. No guarantees
We work hard to keep Kwikly useful and safe, but the site is provided as is. We cannot promise exam scores, admissions results or that the site will always be available. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from lessons or arrangements between families and tutors.
10. Ending your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We can close accounts that break these terms. Some records, like signed agreements and safety reports, may be kept for a reasonable time for safety and legal reasons.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. When we make an important change, we will ask you to read and agree again before you continue.
12. Talk to us first
If there is a problem, email support@theraydengroup.com. We will try in good faith to sort it out quickly and fairly.
