Kwikly
Child Safety Rules
Version 2026-10-31
Plain-language version. If anything here is unclear, email support@theraydengroup.com.
Most students on Kwikly are under 18. These rules apply to every tutor and parent, every time. Breaking them can mean immediate removal.
For tutors
- Only message a student inside a conversation where the parent has turned on consent. Never contact a student any other way.
- Never ask a student for their phone number, email, social media, home address, school name, photos or other personal details.
- Never share your own personal contact details or social media with a student.
- Keep every message about learning. No flirting, no comments about appearance, no personal favors, no gifts.
- Never ask a student to keep a secret from their parent.
- No in-person meetings unless the parent agrees in writing on Kwikly and a parent or trusted adult is present.
- Video lessons happen only in the Kwikly lesson room, with the camera in a shared space at home. Parents and our safety team may join any lesson at any time. Never move a lesson to another video app.
- Homework answers explain the method. Never complete tests or graded work for a student.
- If a student tells you they are being harmed or are in danger, follow the law where you live, contact local emergency services if anyone is in immediate danger, and tell us at support@theraydengroup.com.
For parents
- You decide whether your child can message a tutor. You can turn consent on or off for each conversation at any time.
- You can read every message in your child's conversations.
- Only share your child's first name, grade and learning goals. You do not need to share anything more.
- Check in with your child about their lessons, and tell us about anything that worries you.
What we do
- We review every tutor by hand before they can join.
- Our messaging hides contact details automatically and flags risky wording for review.
- We act fast on reports. We may pause accounts while we look into a concern.
- We cooperate with law enforcement and child protection agencies when required.
To report a concern, email support@theraydengroup.com with "Safety" in the subject line. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
